Thought I would share with everyone my progress so far, I’ve been doing the odd row here and there after a good few hour stint at the beginning (in which I had to unravel it completely add I was doing the wrong stitch! That was frustrating haha) …now it is coming along quite nicely and the back panel isn’t to far from being finished!
Last week I was asked if I could make a little crochet baby dress for a friend, I’ve not been asked before and am really looking forward to seeing how it will turn out….and I found the cutest pattern! It is also a very welcome break from my mission to make phone cases at the minute for craft shows over the summer (photos to come).
I got a bit carried away making lots of bits over the last week and a half that I forgot to post about them all! So I am now going to bombard you with pictures of my random little creations….hope you like them!
Again sorry the photos are a but dark, the weather is being relentlessly miserable! Hence the bright colours to cheer myself up! I’ve also been thinking about starting to do craft fairs and trying to sell a range of work online….thinking up a name is hard work!
This week had been a little bit slow on the making front, mainly I’ve been taking apart things which I haven’t been happy with. And from the wool I made this bunting, I need to give it a bit of an iron to flatten each piece but apart from that I think it’s quite cute.
Sorry the photos are a bit dark it’s a really horrible rainy day today!
I decided to undertake a bigger project than I have tried before for my gift for my mum this mothers day, I decided on a cushion in shades of grey, cream, blue and black. I worked the whole thing in rounds so that I didn’t have to worry about matching up stripes at the end.
I worked it up in asymmetric stripes of dc and trc, I love the contrast of really tiny stripes alongside thicker ones.
I’ve been working on a few things this week, my sister asked me for a pair of slippers a while back so I got round to making those floor her, I also finished my mothers day present….but I can’t post that up just yet! And them just a few other things which I thought I would have a go at… Alice’s Slippers
Stone Paperweights
Braided Bracelet
I shall post up piccys of my mothers day present soon, I’m dead happy with it!

Yesterday saw the completion of Sid’s Mittens, after getting fed up with trying find a pattern I liked I decided I would attempt to write my own…which went fairly well I think even if it was a bit tricky! I will try and make sense of my notes and write it up so it’s not total gibberish….this may take some time!
Sid and his mittens…
I thought I would have a go at some headbands with some leftovers I had, I’ve seen a few of them about in Topshop etc and if your wearing your hair on the top of your head they do a pretty good job of stopping your ears freeze off! You can pretty much do them with any stitch you like, I made mine up a bit as I went along…
If anyone wants me to write up any patterns for anything I’ve made that I haven’t post links to just let me know..
Sharing the most awesome crochet ideas!
